The Elephant is Spotted

So I drove to my Nonna's today for lunch. On the way back, my dad and I decided to practice parking a bit. All I have to say is, cars on either side of the spot I'm aiming for: beware.

Now, I'd like to think that I'm not so bad at parking regularly, but my dad has this notion that backing in is the superior way. Well, backing in requires a little more skill, something I have realized.

So we're doing this parking stuff, and my dad's like "Well, maybe it will be easier if you have cars on either side instead of these lines.' And I was thinking 'Well gee, that makes sense, so that I can scratch up these cars during the learning process. Great.'

Last night, I went to bed and I just lay there. Seriously, my eyes were open and I was staring at the ceiling. I was SO awake! Thus, I decided to read for a bit. Of course, it took me forever to be able to adjust my eyes after I had turned my light on... they had obviously already grown accustomed to the dark. So after blinking away tears for a few minutes, I read for a bit, then I went to bed. And then I woke up in the morning. I know, the excitement is just unbearable.

The other day I wrote a post and failed to add a title. This was a pure accident. I was surprised to see though, that apparently you don't need a title, it just means there's no fancy orange wriitng at the top of the post. But I like the orange writing. It's one of my favourtie parts of the blog.

So, two entries down, two more to go, and then it's all open to Karen's exciting life stories, lol!
