Materials

Sometimes I worry when I get excited over the smallest things. Case in point? A Brand! New! Tube! Of! Toothpaste!

Yes, it was an exciting moment for me, and after waking up I eagerly headed to the bathroom to try it out. This is something that brings me joy in life.

Anyway, it was fairly good. Crest, Cool Mint, and I think it has some sort of whitening thing in it which whatever, I'd like my teeth to be whiter but I don't have high hope that toothpaste will do that. So the flavour is rather spicy. And I know that that is not a very appropiate word to use, but it was the first thing that came to my mind when I tasted it. Maybe strong would work better. But it works fine, and leaves my mouth feeling clean and refreshed which is the point!

Another thing I noted: I had previously been using some blue toothpaste, and everytime I spit it would, duh, be blue. This particular toothpaste comes out of the tueb as a light (rather unappealing if I do say so myself) green colour, but when you spit it's white! I almost couldn't tell the difference betweeen the white spit and the white sink! I thought that was kinda neat. And the whites probably aren't that similar, but after that bright blue, it certainly seemed so.

Moving on, I took a shower this morning and was a little sad. For the most part, I love showering here in res. The water is so warm, and because there are no windows in the shower cubicle thingies, you don't step out of the shower into frigid cold air like at some places coughmydownstairsbathroomcough. But anyway, usually I turn the water all the way to hot, to get it going and such, and then before I step in, I need to turn it colder so that I don't scald myself. But today... today! It was bascailly on the hottest setting for the entire shower. I guess a lot of peple take showers at 10:45 in the morning. All I hope is that this is only a one time thing.

There was a nice hot moment or two when people flushed the toilets. Talk about highlights!

Anyway, enough rambling!
