Fast times

Yesterday was a really nice day, right? Nice hot weather. The weather channel said that today would be similar. Then i listened to the radio and they said "chance of thunderstorms with lightning and hail", which seemed so crazy. But upon looking out the window at the grey skies, i figured there must have been some chance of rain. So i stayed indoors because i didn't want to get caught in the rain at any point. I mean, having an umbrella can only go so far when it's really hot and because of the hot weather i'd wear sandals and probably shorts and then my feet would get all wet and soaked, unprotected by that useless umbrella. So! i watched some tv, did some laundry, and cooked some food. And wouldn't you know, the sun starts to shine! The clouds have apparently parted this afternoon and people are walking around like it's all wonderful. This is upsetting. I hope that it rains at least a little to justify that radio show's crazy weather prediction.
